PARIS, April 16, 2010 - It is with the utmost pleasure that Jetmobile presents SecureJet Enterprise 6.3. This new version of our enterprise-class secure printing software offers the following new features and improvements:
SecureJet Admin Software Configuration Backup
It is now possible to save the SecureJet Admin Software configuration when uninstalling the software and import the configuration when re-installing or installing a newer version of the software.
New Language System
A new simplified language system has been implemented.
Pull Print Quota Notification
The Quota Notification tool allows the administrator to set up a system that automatically sends e-mails to users when they approach, reach, or breach their printing quotas.
Firmware Viewer
It is now possible to view the available firmware (RFUs) and identify firmware with problems.
Authentication Message
During the authentication process a screen appears blocking access to the functions until the user is fully identified.
Replace Existing User(s) Option in Autogenerate PIN Codes Function
A Replace Existing User(s) option has been added to the Autogenerate PIN List function to speed up the process PIN code generation by skipping already existing users.
Remote Job Storage
It is now possible to store print jobs on a different server to that of the SecureJet Print-PS server.
LDAP Profile Organization
LDAP profiles (LDAP ID profiles and LDAP Login & Password profiles) were re-organized so that an LDAP profile does not need to be created for a specific purpose. Instead the same LDAP profile can be used for mutliple purposes.
Removal of Authentication, Secure Printing, and Billing Profiles
The concept of Authentication, Secure Printing, and Billing profiles was removed. Now these three aspects of the printer settings are configured in the printer group. Instead of creating a new group from available profiles, it is now possible to create a new group by copying an existing group.
SecureJet Print-PS Purge
The purge of SecureJet Print-PS has been re-coded. The purge can now be configured to run at different frequencies (in previous versions the purge was fixed at an hourly frequency).
