Your hp printer will keep functioning as a generic printer but will instantly also become a secure MICR printer, producing checks with security fonts and E13B or CMC7 highly readable symbols.

Dynamic check printing

The benefits of this approach are immediately obvious. Companies no longer need to rely on pre-printed check stock for accounts payable or payroll functions. High quality checks with fully readable MICR coding can be output directly on the printer with no need for special stock. You can even issue checks from multiple bank accounts simply by changing the data sent to the printer. This can be a big time saver if your company uses different accounts for different accounts payable functions, or if you need to change accounts to better manage company cash-flow. Payroll departments can also take advantage of this function if, for instance, they use one account for salaries and another for commissions.
