for the new hp Business Ink Jet 2300 printer.

is a
hardware solution plugged inside
the hp BIJ 2300
printer, designed to add full barcoding intelligence
to the printer for easy barcoding from ERPs, Unix Systems and Windows

The
BIJ2300 prints color documents as fast as an entry-level color laser printer
with comparable print quality, with speeds of up to 26 ppm for black and up to
22 ppm for color in Fast mode for everyday documents. Using BarDIMM makes it
easy to put those marks in ERP, Unix, DOS or Windows documents.
Ink Jet
printing also opens new possibilities for users, previously only possible with
specialized thermal printers. This printer generates no ozone and no heat and
features no fan, making it usable in clean
environments. Special medias can also be used, as ink penetrates into the media
fibers. The low cost of the BIJ2300 makes it even possible to always have a
spare unit in the backroom for uninterrupted printing (in factories, hospitals
or any other mission-critical environment).
BarDIMM
gives the BIJ 2300 the capability to generate most standard 1d and 2D barcodes,

supported natively by SAP R/3® and many other ERPs, and
features a patent-pending new Windows applications Plug&Play interface. It has

printing

and PIRA approval.
APACS (Association of Payment
Clearing Services, http://www.apacs.org.uk
) certification
is for the MICR code line and the PIRA approval for cheques
infilling.
The JetCAPS Labs MICR DIMM prints high quality cheques with fully readable
MICR coding without dedicated stock or printers. It even allows the user
to change information from cheque to cheque or to print cheques with
accompanying letters or statements. It has a range of security features
