Smart card authentication for HP MFPs and Digital Senders

If you need to control access to HP Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) and Digital Senders in your organization and your employees are equipped with a supported smartcard, install SecureJet Auth-SC. Employees can then use their corporate smartcard to access device functions such as e-mail, fax, copy, scan, or secure mobile printing.

Access Control for Any MFP Function

Secure any or all MFP functions to suit your needs: fax, e-mail, copy, print jobs, scan to folder, job tracking, etc.
Determine which user information should be retrieved and used for MFP functions (e.g. e-mail address for the Send to E-mail function).
Limit the extent to which your employees can use MFP functions.

Simple Foolproof User Identification

Authenticate using your corporate smart card (with an alternate authentication method as a backup).
Choose the user validation method adapted to your needs:
Direct validation with or without CA/CRL verification
Validation through an Authentication Gateway (SecureJet Print-PS feature) with or without CA/CRL verification

Secure & Mobile Printing

Protect print jobs from start to finish with the encryption and controlled release capabilities by combining SecureJet Authentication with SecureJet Secure Mobile Printing.
Authenticate and retrieve print jobs from any SecureJet-enabled MFP in the workgroup using the SecureJet Print-SMP and Print-PS modules.

Billback Capability

Simplify billing by using SecureJet’s billback functionality. All print jobs can be charged to a client or project using the billing codes created and managed by the SecureJet software.
