SecureJet Box

Secure Pull Printing for Legacy Printers

In addition to their high cost, all those unclaimed documents left on your printer output trays are a critical security leak—any confidential information that falls into the wrong hands can be detrimental to your company. Imagine the consequences if printouts from human resources or financial departments were whisked away by an unauthorized employee or visitor before they could be collected from the printer's output tray. The SecureJet Box connected to your legacy USB or network printer is the solution, securing both the print job’s data and release.

The SecureJet Box combined with a SecureJet authentication module helps mitigate security and compliance risks and reduces paper waste by allowing print jobs to be encrypted and stored on a server, until you are ready to retrieve and print them by authenticating at the device. It is designed for printers and Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) that do not natively support the SecureJet Print-SMP solution.

Securely Retained Print Jobs

  • Retain print jobs on the print server until the user authenticates on a printer or MFP and releases the print jobs, thus increasing document confidentiality and reducing paper and ink waste.

Unclaimed Print Jobs Self-Delete

  • Configure print jobs to automatically delete after a set time, thus cleaning print queues and preventing them from blocking up.

Roaming Pull Printing

  • Release print jobs from any printer/MFP equipped with SecureJet Print-SMP or a SecureJet Box—even printers/MFPs on the other side of the world.

Print Job Quotas and Expiration

  • Set limits for the maximum stored print job size and maximum storage time.

One Print Queue for All Printers

  • Simplify print queue management—only one printer queue is needed per PC.

Enhanced Authentication Functionality

  • Authenticate users using LDAP and Active Directory servers. SecureJet Print-PS provides the capability of performing live ID validation against LDAP and Active Directory servers for SecureJet Authentication modules.
